Shelley A. Johnson - Interior Designer

Shelley A. Johnson - Interior Designer

Shelley is the daughter of the principal director and from an early age has worked on her fathers refurbishment project. Many times armed with a broom. She has always liked site work so it was no shock when she chose Interior Design as a career.

Shelley qualified from Birmingham City University in 2010 with a BA (Hons) degree in interior design. To gain further experience Shelley applied for and won an 8 week placement at Candy & Candy Interior Design London, the internationally renowned interior design company. Her duties as assistant interior designer won her just acclaim from her peers for hard work, determination and attention to detail. Shelley received a glowing report from her department head.

During 2011 Shelley decided to gain more experience and moved to Cyprus working in a leading Nicosia Architectural Practice. She has since moved on and works as an independent designer for the Airport Authority at both Larnica and Paphos airports as well as attending to her own commissions including those of her dads.

Shelley is proficient with most modern design tools including AutoCAD and Photo Shop.

Steve O'Keeffe - Project Management Team

Steve O'Keeffe - Senior Contracts Administrator

Over the years Steve has gained a remarkable amount of knowledge in all aspects of the construction industry. Initially Steve qualified in Electrical and Mechanical Service finally completing his advanced education at The Mathew Boulton Technical College Birmingham, not only did he complete his advanced education at the Mathew Boulton but lectured there part time.

As a top contracts manager Steve has managed many impressive interior construction projects in the UK up to a value well in excess of £10 million. He is passionate about good construction practice, punctilious organisation and attention to the smallest of details.

His hobbies include architecture, Interior Design, Fine Art. He is married with two adult children.

The Following is a List of Steve's Achievements:

  • A high level of understanding in the planning and programming of construction contracts.
  • Considerable experience and knowledge of account negotiation and final account agreements.
  • The ability and experience to achieve scheduled construction completion.
  • The experience at operating at and reporting to Board Directors.
  • Considerable experience in client liaison, interfacing consultants and team development.
  • Successfully acted as project manager on large contracts whether Design & Build or Build only scope, in particular refurbishment contracts.
  • Proven ability to produce Construction Phase Health & Safety Plans and apply these throughout contract duration.

Neil Johnson

Neil Johnson

Neil has spent all his working life in the Construction Industry and has gained a vast knowledge of best practice and a knowledge of materials and advanced building systems.

Initially Neil trained and qualified as an Architectural Technician, later forming his own design practice. He later became involved with interior design and patented his own aluminium partitioning system. Neil has also built commercial and domestic properties from the ground up incorporating all major construction disciplines. From the experience gained in developing his own properties Neil has never accepted a second rate quality and insists on the best standard of work for all his clients.

His hobbies are Palladian Architecture, fly fishing and keeping fit.

Simon Marland - Company Relocation

Simon Marland

Simon has for the majority of his working life been employed in the automotive industry both as an employee and as a self employed contractor.

He has worked at Bently Bently motors as a design engineer and for the past three years worked as a free-lance consultant facilities planning engineer in all aspects of industry.

Simon specialises in the implementation, design and management of company re-locations. During the latter part of 2012 Simon planned and managed the re-location of Charter Automotive into their new premise at Burntwood, Staffs.

His claim to fame was to be presented to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II during a local company visit.

Simon's key elements are as follows:

  • Premises location search in conjunction with commercial property agents
  • Factory and office layouts in conjunction with the client
  • Design and Implementation of services infrastructure
  • Renovation of premises ready for move
  • Planning and execution of move
  • Contractor quotes, quality of work and timing
